Jasper Needs a Ride to San Diego!

Jasper is a beautiful senior black lab, who has been at Animal Friends Humane Society for the past 5-6 years. Since the shelter was evicted from its property, the number of animals has gone down from an estimated 150 to only 40! But Jasper hasn't had any luck finding a rescue to take him in locally.

Being a big, old, black dog, he had three strikes against him in his journey to finding a home. Thankfully, the folks at Labradors and Friends in San Diego, California decided to clear his record and take him in! They have promised him a foster home with friends who will take him to the beach to play ball while they find him the family he's been waiting for.

It is a 1,300 mile journey from San Antonio to San Diego. The amazing crew at Tracy's Dogs has agreed to transport Jasper along with six other labs that had been sentenced to death at Animal Care Services in San Antonio. But they need our help to make Jasper's trip possible! It's expensive to drive cross-country with a SUV full of dogs. We know that Jasper is worth every penny, and hope you'll consider chipping in a few dollars to make it happen.
