Tracy's Dogs Taking the Lead on Transport

To date, Tracy's Dogs has helped send six dogs to Colorado and one to San Diego. They plan to send four more to Colorado in March, and won't stop until there are no dogs left without a safe place to go. Spread the Word on Facebook

Help Needed to Send Dogs to SLV Animal Welfare Society
Animal Friends Humane Society has been evicted, and more than 50 dogs and cats are at risk of being left behind, or worse.
Amos, Andi, Rusty and Tandy have been living at Animal Friends for three years or more, denied the opportunity to find a family to call their own. San Luis Valley Animal Welfare Society near Colorado Springs has offered to help by taking in some of the wonderful dogs that have been let down by those who took them in. Not only take them in - but adopt them out into the responsible, loving homes they have been waiting for! While we hope to find more Colorado rescues and families with space in their hearts to take in more of the animals waiting for rescue at Animal Friends, these four have people waiting for them - which means we need donations to pay for their care, housing, and transportation. Sending dogs from Texas to Colorado in a rush is no easy task. Volunteers are mobilizing to get these dogs up-to-date on their vaccinations and out of Animal Friends before Monday's eviction date. Foster homes or boarding facilities must be found, and others still must make the 16-hour drive with the dogs in tow. Not much compared to what these dogs have been through, waiting in kennels day after day for so long - we think they deserve this, and we hope that you will help make their dreams come true.  |
